Woman Killed in Corona Car Accident on 91 freeway, Monday Morning
Corona, California (May 4, 2020) – A female party died after a white sedan was struck by a white box truck on the Riverside (91) Freeway in Corona early Monday morning.
The California Highway Patrol did not disclose the circumstances that led to the collision of the two vehicles on the westbound Riverside Freeway, east of Maple Street at about 2:39 a.m.
Due to the impact, the sedan faced the wrong way in the slow lane without warning lights flashing.
Officials said a third automobile might be involved in the mishap.
The woman died at Riverside Community Hospital, where she was admitted after the wreck.
Pending notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
