Pickup Truck and SUV Involved in Fresno Head-On Crash at Kansas and 16th Avenue
Fresno, California (May 20, 2020) – 24-year-old Steve Marin and Angel Rodriguez, 55, of Lemoore, have been identified as the victims who sustained severe injuries following a two-vehicle crash that happened at Kansas Avenue and 16th Avenue in Fresno Tuesday morning.
As per the California Highway Patrol report, an SUV driven by Marin crashed head-on into a pickup truck that was driven by Rodriguez near Stratford at round 5:30 a.m. May 19.
Marin, a Porterville resident, reportedly fell asleep at the time of the collision.
Both Marin and Rodriguez were hospitalized with serious injuries sustained in the wreck.
A passenger riding in the SUV, 32-year-old man from San Jose, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Pending notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
The fatal accident remains under an active investigation.
According to Arin Khodaverdian, the Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group, a separate investigation by an experienced attorney is necessary so as clearly uncover the circumstances surrounding the collision. “An attorney will also help the victim to navigate all the legal processes in pursuit of fair compensation and justice.
Car accident claims are rarely straightforward, and, regardless of the circumstances involved, liable insurance companies will often do everything possible to limit their out-of-pocket expenses by either devaluing or outright denying your claim. It is crucial, therefore, that you have an experienced attorney on your side,” said Arin.
