Ariel Delgadillo Fatal Tulare County Truck Crash at Avenue 328 and Road 80, May 19
Tulare County, California (May 21, 2020) – One of the two victims who died following a traffic collision involving a truck at the intersection of Avenue 328 and Road 80 Tuesday morning has been identified as 17-year-old Ariel Delgadillo of Visalia.
The accident happened when a 2010 Prius driven by 20-year-old George Llamas southbound on Road 80 toward Visalia at a high rate of speed rear-ended a commercial farming truck that was making a lane change at the intersection with Avenue 360 just round 7:30 a.m.
Llamas, a Dinuba resident, died at Kaweah Delta Medical Center while undergoing treatment.
Delgadillo, who was riding in the Prius, died in the accident. Another Prius passenger, 16-year-old, sustained critical injuries and was also taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center.
Officials recovered a loaded gun inside the car, and Marijuana plants were scattered the crash site.
An investigation into the Tulare County accident is underway.
