Rider Suffers Major Injuries in Anza Motorcycle Accident on Wellman Road
Anza, California (May 3, 2020) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured Sunday afternoon in a traffic accident in Anza, according to a local news source.
Authorities said the accident happened at around 3:30 p.m. in the 58000 block of Wellman Road.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, a pickup was turning into a business when, for unknown reasons, it collided with the motorcyclist.
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and rendered aid to the injured rider. The motorcyclist was then airlifted to a hospital for treatment. However, the name and current condition of the patient were not provided.
The female driver of the pickup stopped at the scene and cooperated with police.
No other details about the crash were immediately given.
The accident remains under investigation.
