Rider Suffers Major Injuries in Hesperia Motorcycle Accident on Highway 395 near Main Street
Hesperia, California (May 3, 2020) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured Saturday morning in a traffic collision on a highway in Hesperia, a local news source reported.
Shortly before 10:28 a.m. May 2, the motorcyclist was riding a black motorcycle on Highway 395 when, for unknown reasons, it was struck by a tractor-trailer near Main Street. The bike was partially wedged underneath the truck.
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and rendered aid to the rider who sustained major injuries as a result of the accident. The victim was then airlifted to a trauma center for treatment.
Crews closed the highway as they investigate the accident.
“Far too many motorcycle collisions are caused by the carelessness or recklessness of other motorists. Sadly, when this occurs, motorcyclists are the ones who tend to suffer the vast majority of injuries”, according to Arin Khodaverdian, Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group. Under California’s rule of comparative negligence, a victim may be able to collect compensation for injuries and other damages even if you were partly at fault for the accident.
