Male Pedestrian Dies after Hesperia Train Crash at Santa Fe Avenue and Lime Street
Hesperia, California (May 9, 2020) – Police are investigating a Saturday afternoon train accident that killed one person in Hesperia.
The fatal crash occurred in the area of Santa Fe Avenue and Lime Street at about 4:52 p.m.
One person was struck by a train on the railroads for unknown reasons, according to the authorities.
A male victim was pronounced dead upon arrival of the first responders.
BNSF stopped train traffic in the area for an unknown period.
No further details about the crash were immediately available.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
