Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Victorville Crash on Amargosa Road and Midtown Drive Wednesday morning
Victorville, California (May 14, 2020) – A motorcyclist was sent to a hospital with serious injuries following a traffic crash in Victorville Wednesday morning, authorities reported.
The crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle took place at about 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, May 13, on Amargosa Road and Midtown Drive, near the Winco shopping center.
A red Ford Mustang reportedly drifted into the path of a black 2002 Suzuki GSF motorcycle. The motorcyclist then rear-ended the vehicle.
Due to the impact, the motorcyclist was ejected from the bike and thrown several feet down the road. The rider suffered serious injuries and was flown to a trauma center in critical condition.
The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and was cooperative, police said.
The Victorville Police Department asked anyone who witnessed the crash to call them at 720-241-2911.
“Far too many motorcycle collisions are caused by the carelessness or recklessness of other motorists. Sadly, when this occurs, motorcyclists are the ones who tend to suffer the vast majority of injuries”, according to Arin Khodaverdian, Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group.
