Tehachapi Pedestrian Accident at Tehachapi Boulevard and Highway 58 Kills 1 Victim
Tehachapi, California (May 22, 2020) – A man died at Adventist Health Tehachapi Hospital after being hit by a car while walking north on Tehachapi Boulevard in a marked crosswalk at about 7:23 p.m. Tuesday, a local news source reported.
Officials said the vehicle was traveling on East Tehachapi Boulevard when its driver failed to stop to a red light at the intersection of Tehachapi Boulevard and Highway 58 on May 19.
The involved driver cooperated with the authorities’ investigation.
