Rosa Orellana Fatal Oildale Pedestrian Accident on Merle Haggard Drive, Friday evening
Oildale, California (May 21, 2020) – Authorities have released the name of the elderly woman who died following a pedestrian accident that happened near McCray Street in Oildale Friday evening, May 15.
As per the report, 91-year-old Rosa Orellana died at the scene after being struck by a pickup truck at approximately 5:30 p.m.
Orellana was collecting cans and bottles near the highway prior to the collision.
It was not mentioned whether the involved motorist stopped after the mishap and cooperated with the investigation.
The detectives handling the case are gathering more details to determine the cause of the accident.
