Car and Parked 2010 Freightliner Cascadia Involved in Fatal Victorville Traffic Accident on Interstate 15
Victorville, California (May 26, 2020) – The driver who died following a traffic collision that happened on the northbound Interstate 15, near Bear Valley Road off-ramp Friday morning, has been identified as 24-year-old Kentarri Currie, of Fontana.
As per the report, a black 1999 Toyota Avalon driven by Currie along the highway crashed into the rear of a parked 2010 Freightliner Cascadia at about 12:19 a.m. May 22 for unknown reasons.
The Toyota reportedly got trapped under the truck upon the impact.
Currie, who was trapped inside the wreckage, was extricated by firefighters who responded at the scene shortly after 12:19 a.m.
The initial report indicated that the truck driver was asleep in the cab at the time of the crash.
The fatal accident remains under investigation.
