4 Persons Killed in Escondido Pedestrian Accident on San Pasqual Valley Road
Escondido, California (May 6, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a Tuesday night pedestrian accident that killed two adults, a male and a female, and two male juveniles in Escondido.
The deadly crash occurred at 495 San Pasqual Valley Road at around 8:30 p.m., on May 5.
Four people were, for unknown reasons, hit by a car. It was not clear if they were in a crosswalk at the time, according to the police.
Two victims were declared dead at the scene while two others were taken to Palomar Hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries.
The driver involved, a 28-year-old Escondido woman, was hospitalized with minor injuries.
No further details about the crash were immediately available.
The accident remains under investigation.
