Isla Vista, California (May 16, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a bicycle accident that left one person nursing major injuries on Friday night in Isla Vista.

As per the police logs, the collision occurred in the 800 block of Camino del Sur, shortly after 9:00 p.m., on May 15.

A bicycle collided with a vehicle on the roadway in unclear circumstances said the police.

The cyclist was transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment.

No further details about the crash were immediately available.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
