Woman and Her Baby in Stroller Injured in Eureka Pedestrian Accident on Broadway near Harbor Lanes
Eureka, California (March 8, 2020) – A woman pushing a stroller with an infant was struck by a vehicle Saturday night at a Eureka intersection, according to authorities.
The crash took place at around 11:45 p.m. Saturday, March 7 on Broadway near Harbor Lanes.
Authorities said the woman was pushing a stroller containing her child when they were struck by a red SUV that was heading northbound on Broadway
Paramedics responded to the scene and performed CPR on the woman who had major injuries. She was then rushed to a local hospital for treatment.
The child was also taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
Police closed one northbound lane of Broadway to investigate the accident.
Further details about the crash were not immediately provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
