CHP Investigating Dorris Car Accident on Highway 97 at Owens Lane
Siskiyou County, California (March 22, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a two-vehicle collision that sent several people to the hospital Friday morning in Dorris.
The accident involved an SUV and a sedan that crashed on the southbound side of Volcanic Legacy Scenic Byway near Owens Lane, just about 5:08 a.m.
One of the cars involved rolled over several times upon the impact.
As per the report, one of the vehicles had three or four passengers, and the other was carrying one or two people at the time of the collision.
Paramedics took all those who were riding in one of the automobiles, including an elderly lady who suffered rib injuries to Sky Lakes Medical Center in Klamath Falls, Oregon, for treatment.
Meanwhile, the accident remains under an active investigation.
According to Arin Khodaverdian, the Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group, a separate investigation by an experienced attorney is necessary so as clearly uncover the circumstances surrounding the collision. “An attorney will also help the victim to navigate all the legal processes in pursuit of fair compensation and justice.
Car accident claims are rarely straightforward, and, regardless of the circumstances involved, liable insurance companies will often do everything possible to limit their out-of-pocket expenses by either devaluing or outright denying your claim. It is crucial, therefore, that you have an experienced attorney on your side,” said Arin.
