Man Killed in Lake Elsinore Pedestrian Accident on Camino Del Norte at 2nd Street
Lake Elsinore, California (March 2, 2020) – A male pedestrian died after being hit by a vehicle at an intersection in Lake Elsinore early Monday morning.
At around 3:14 a.m., officers received a report about the fatal accident in the 18800 block of Camino Del Norte.
Authorities said the man was at the intersection of Camino Del Norte and 2nd Street when he was hit by a vehicle.
The man died in the accident. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of family.
The driver of the vehicle involved stopped at the scene and cooperated with the police. Alcohol or drugs were not considered a factor in the accident.
Authorities closed Camino Del Norte to investigate the crash.
