Man Killed in Culver City Pedestrian Accident on 405 Freeway near Culver Boulevard
Culver City, California (March 9, 2020) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle early Monday morning in the Culver City area, according to a local news source.
The deadly pedestrian accident occurred at around 12:50 a.m. on 405 Freeway near Culver Boulevard.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was in the southbound lanes of the 405 Freeway when, for unknown reasons, he was struck by a vehicle.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of family.
The driver of the vehicle involved stopped at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
The accident caused the closure of all southbound lanes of the freeway. As of 4:15 a.m., the lanes were reopened.
Further details about the collision were not immediately given. The crash remains under investigation.
