Motorcyclist Sustains Minor Injuries in Oakland Traffic Crash on Interstate 880 at 5th Avenue
Oakland, California (March 5, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a traffic accident involving a Toyota Camry on Wednesday morning in Oakland.
As per the report, a motorcyclist collided with the Toyota Camry on the northbound I-880 at 5th Avenue at around 6:35 a.m. Vehicles were blocking the left lane after the collision.
The rider sustained minor injuries in the crash. The victim received first aid treatment from the Oakland Fire Department, who responded to the scene shortly after the wreck.
The roadway was closed up to around 7:30 a.m. as detectives conducted the investigation.
Meanwhile, both the motorcycle and the Toyota Camry were towed away from the crash site.
The accident remains under investigation.
