Victorville Bicycle Crash at Hesperia Road and Green Tree Boulevard Resulted in Major Injury

Victorville, California (March 28, 2020) – Authorities are investigating the cause of a bicycle collision that took place at the intersection of Hesperia Road and Green Tree Boulevard in Victorville at around 7:24 p.m. Friday.

A male bicyclist sustained life-threatening injuries after a 2008 dark gray Pontiac G8 struck him at the intersection near Coad Road and Eureka Street for reasons still under an active investigation.

The man was ejected from his bike while the Pontiac acquired major damage to the front passenger-side windshield and headlight upon the impact.

Paramedics, along with Victorville Fire Department officials, arrived at the crash site and rendered aid to the victim before transporting him to Desert Valley Hospital.

The patient was then airlifted to a trauma center for further medical aid.

The involved driver stopped after the accident and cooperated with the investigation.

Meanwhile, a stretch of Hesperia Road was closed down for an unknown time.

The investigation is underway.
