Lourdes Giron Identified as Woman Killed in Carson Pedestrian Accident at Avalon Boulevard and 184th Street
Carson, California (March 18, 2020) - Lourdes Giron, 86, of Carson, has been identified as the woman who was killed in an auto-pedestrian crash on Monday night in Carson, according to police.
The crash happened, on March 16, in the area of Avalon Boulevard and 184th Street near Dignity Health Sports Park.
The police said Giron was struck by a vehicle when she was crossing Avalon Boulevard outside of a crosswalk.
Giron was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of the crash.
The involved driver stopped at the scene and cooperated with the police.
More details about the crash were immediately not available.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
