Izeah Almaguer Arrested in TulareFatal DUI Crash on H Street and San Joaquin Avenue
The Tulare Police Department said Almaguer was driving at high speed when he broadsided a Toyota Prius drive Carrasco on the driver's side.
Carrasco was trapped in the vehicle, and he was extricated and rushed to Kaweah Delta Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Almaguer was also taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center for leg pain.
A toxicology report revealed on Friday that Almaguer had a blood alcohol content of .13, beyond the legal limit for driving of .08, according to Tulare Police
Almaguer was arrested later that day and now sits in Tulare County Jail.
No other details of the crash were immediately released.
