CHP Investigating Carmichael Pedestrian Accident at Winding Way and Hackberry Lane
Carmichael, California (March 16, 2020) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a pedestrian collision that happened in the area of Carmichael at approximately 6:00 a.m.
As per the report, an elderly woman sustained unspecified injuries after being struck by a white Ford Expedition at the intersection of Winding Way and Hackberry Lane on Friday morning.
The CHP did not disclose the manner in which the collision occurred.
Medical personnel along with the Sacramento Fire Department officials responded to the scene shortly after the wreck and offered first aid treatment to the victim.
It was not mentioned whether or not the patient was hospitalized for further aid.
The involved motorist remained at the scene after hitting the female party.
The CHP is still investigating the cause of the accident.
