Donald Nelson ID’d as Person Killed in Sacramento Pedestrian Accident near Mack Road and Valley Hi Drive
Sacramento, California (March 2, 2020) – The pedestrian who was hit and killed by a vehicle last week Tuesday in Sacramento has been identified as Donald Nelson, 88, according to police.
The crash occurred near Mack Road and Valley Hi Drive on February 25.
Nelson was on the roadway when he was struck by a car.
Nelson was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
The driver stopped and cooperated with the police.
Intoxication was not believed to be a factor in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
