Vehicle Struck and Injured Juvenile on Seaward Avenue Near Alessandro Drive
Ventura, California (March 12, 2020) – A young pedestrian was hospitalized following a pedestrian collision that took place in Ventura shortly before 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
According to a local news source, the pedestrian was struck and injured by a work truck while walking on the sidewalk along southbound Seaward Avenue near Alessandro Drive on Wednesday afternoon.
As per the report, the truck driver who stopped after hitting the kid jumped the curb prior to the occurrence of the collision.
The unidentified patient was rushed to Ventura County Medical Center for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The southbound Seaward Avenue was closed down at Ocean Avenue as clean up and investigation took place
