14-Year-Old Boy Killed in Sacramento County Pedestrian Accident on Sunnyvale Avenue and Becerra Way
Sacramento County, California (March 13, 2020) – A 14-year-old boy was killed in a pedestrian crash on Friday afternoon in Sacramento County, according to the CHP.
The crash occurred on Sunnyvale Avenue and Becerra Way near Mira Loma High School, at about 3:30 p.m.
The California Highway Patrol said the boy was at the insterction when, for unknown reasons, he was struck by a car driven by a male student of Mira Loma High School.
The boy died as a result of the crash.
Following the accident, the involved driver remained at the scene and was cooperative, CHP said.
More details about the crash were not immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
