Manuel Fernandez Fatal Victorville Pedestrian Accident on Luna Road at Princeton Drive
San Jose, California (March 10, 2020) – Authorities have released the name of an 89-year-old Victorville man who died following a pedestrian accident that happened in the area of Victorville at about 4:32 p.m. on March 9.
As per the Victorville Police Department report, Manuel Fernandez died at a local trauma center where he was admitted after being struck by a white Chrysler minivan driven by 70-year-old Myrtle Meggs of Victorville east on Luna Road.
The initial report showed that Fernandez was walking south on Princeton Drive and crossing Luna Road prior to the occurrence of the accident on Monday afternoon.
Meggs remained at the scene and cooperated with the law.
The accident remains under an active investigation.
