Jesus Mauris ID’d Man Killed in Santa Fe Springs Pedestrian Accident on San Gabriel River Freeway
Santa Fe Springs, California – The police have disclosed the identity of a man who was killed in a pedestrian accident in Santa Fe Springs on Saturday morning.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the crash that occurred at around 2:00 a.m. June 13, on northbound San Gabriel River Freeway at Telegraph Road.
The police said 36-year-old Jesus Chavez Mauris of Montebello was struck by multiple vehicles on northbound 605 Freeway.
Mauris was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
The driver of the first vehicle reportedly fled the scene but returned after noticing damage to his car.
The other driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
