Benjamin Montalvo Fatal Corona Bicycle Accident on Rimpau Avenue, June 12
Corona, California (June 15, 2020) – The Riverside County Coroner’s Office has released the name of the Corona bicyclist who was struck by a dark-colored passenger vehicle and died at the scene in Corona at around 12:04 a.m. June 12.
21-year-old Benjamin Montalvo was riding a bicycle southbound on Rimpau Avenue before the early Friday morning collision.
The involved driver, 22-year-old Neomi Velado of Riverside, fled the scene but was later arrested by the California Highway Patrol.
More details regarding the accident will be released immediately after the completion of the investigation.
