Anderson Woman Killed in Stockton Car Accident on 5 Freeway near Knighton Road
Stockton, California (January 26, 2020) – A woman was killed early Sunday morning in a traffic accident in Stockton, a local news source reported.
The deadly crash took place shortly after midnight on 5 Freeway near Knighton Road.
According to the local news report, a 2007 Nissan was stopped in the number three lane of the freeway when it was hit by a 2007 Dodge pickup truck.
The driver of the Nissan, only identified as an Anderson woman, died in the crash. Her name has not been disclosed pending notification of family.
A 25-year-old Cottonwood man, who was the driver of the pickup truck, was not injured.
Further details about the crash were not immediately available.
The accident remains under investigation.
According to Arin Khodaverdian, the Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group, a separate investigation by an experienced attorney is necessary so as clearly uncover the circumstances surrounding the collision. “An attorney will also help the victim to navigate all the legal processes in pursuit of fair compensation and justice. Car accident claims are rarely straightforward, and, regardless of the circumstances involved, liable insurance companies will often do everything possible to limit their out-of-pocket expenses by either devaluing or outright denying your claim. It is crucial, therefore, that you have an experienced attorney on your side,” said Arin.
