Victorville Car Accident on Air Expressway Injured 4 Victims

4 Hurt, 1 Seriously in Victorville Head-on Crash on Air Expressway

Victorville, California (January 24, 2020) – A traffic accident involving a white 2010 Kia Rio and a gray Jeep Patriot in the area of Victorville on Thursday night injured four victims.

The collision took place on Air Expressway, just east of George Boulevard near the Federal Correctional Institution at around 7:38 p.m. on January 23.

The circumstances that lead to the collision of the two vehicles were not immediately disclosed at the time of the crash.

Three people sustained less serious injuries following the wreck. The three victims were taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center for medication. A 42-year-old male victim suffered major injuries and was airlifted to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.

Air Expressway was closed down in both directions as police conducted the investigation.

Police affirmed drugs or alcohol were factors at the time of the wreck.

The accident remains under an active investigation.
