4 Injured in DUI Oakley Crash at Gardenia Avenue and Camelia Court, DUI Driver Arrested
Oakley, California (January 13, 2020) – Authorities are investigating an alleged DUI collision that happened at the Gardenia Avenue and Camelia Court intersection on Sunday evening in Oakley.
Officials said four parties sustained injuries in the January 12 crash that occurred at around 5:05 p.m.
According to a California Highway Patrol dispatch, a female intoxicated driver trigged a car crash. The impact caused one of the vehicles involved to overturn on its roof. Two kids were riding in the car that had rolled over.
After the first crash, the female DUI motorist exited Camelia Court and crashed into another vehicle.
Emergency crews said at least four parties sustained injuries due to the accident. Their names were not immediately provided.
The DUI motorist was later arrested by authorities in connection with the collision.
The incident remains under investigation.
