Oildale, California (January 22, 2020) – Three persons injured in the Oildale car accident that occurred on Monday afternoon in Bakersfield have been identified, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The collision took place at about 12:00 p.m. January 20, on Chester Avenue, just south of Roberts Lane.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2012 Nissan driven by 29-year-old Ruben A. Arvizu Singh was heading northbound while Mark Richard Schrader, 35, was also traveling northbound in a 2011 Mazda. Singh and Schrader were allegedly driving at a high rate of speed at the time.

Due to the impact, the Nissan engine was thrown into a McDonald’s parking lot and struck another vehicle.
Singh was transported to Kern Medical Hospital with critical injuries. Jackson was also hospitalized at the same hospital for treatment of minor wounds.
Schrader sustained minor injuries due to the collision.
It was not immediately known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
An investigation is underway.
Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group, Mr. Arin Khodaverdian believes that car accident claims are rarely straightforward regardless of the circumstances involved. “Liable insurance companies will often do everything possible to limit their out-of-pocket expenses by either devaluing or outright denying your claim and it is crucial, therefore, to have an experienced attorney on your side,” He said.
