Motorcyclist Hurt in San Jose Motorcycle Crash on 880 Freeway near Coleman Avenue
San Jose, California (January 23, 2020) – A motorcyclist was injured after a traffic accident Wednesday night in the area of San Jose, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The crash occurred on southbound 880 Freeway, just south of Coleman Avenue off-ramp.
Authorities said a motorcycle and a vehicle were involved in a collision at about 7:16 p.m. January 22.
Emergency crews along with medical personnel rendered aid to the rider who sustained minor injuries due to the crash. The patient’s name and their current condition were not immediately provided.
Authorities blocked lane 1 following the accident. The roadway was cleared as of 8:09 p.m.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
An investigation is ongoing.
