Pilot Injured in Davis Plane Crash at Yolo County Airport Wednesday afternoon
Davis, California (January 1, 2020) – A pilot was hospitalized Wednesday afternoon after a small plane crashed at the Yolo County Airport near Davis, authorities said.
The crash occurred at around 3:30 p.m. at the Yolo County Airport, just west of Davis.
According to the authorities, a single-engine, homebuilt RV8 flipped over on the runway shortly after landing.
The pilot who was the only person on board suffered minor injuries.
No other details about the crash were given.
The accident remains under investigation by the Yolo County Sheriff's Office and Federal Aviation Administration.
