Pedestrian Dies in Santa Monica Train Accident near Lincoln Boulevard and Colorado Avenue
Santa Monica, California (January 27, 2020) - A train fatally hit a pedestrian on the tracks in Santa Monica Sunday morning, according to Santa Monica police.
The deadly collision occurred at around 6 a.m. on Sunday, January 26, near Lincoln Boulevard and Colorado Avenue.
It's unclear what the pedestrian was doing when he was hit on the tracks.
The victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene. His name was not immediately released.
Police are conducting an investigation into the crash.
