Orlando Castillo ID’d as Man Killed in Palmdale Crash on Antelope Valley (14) Freeway near Courson Ranch Road
Palmdale, California (January 29, 2020) – The man who was killed Sunday morning in a traffic accident in Palmdale has been identified as Orlando Castillo, 28, of Lancaster.
The deadly crash took place at around 9:30 a.m. Sunday, January 26 on the southbound Antelope Valley (14) Freeway.
The California Highway Patrol said a 2017 Chevrolet sedan was traveling in an adjacent lane when for an unknown reason, it collided with the left rear side of a 2007 Toyota Prius driven by Castillo.
Castillo died at the scene.
Two passengers in the Prius, a man and woman, were transported to a hospital with moderate injuries. The driver of the Chevrolet suffered major injuries and was also taken to the hospital.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
According to Arin Khodaverdian, the Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group, a separate investigation by an experienced attorney is necessary so as clearly uncover the circumstances surrounding the collision. “An attorney will also help the victim to navigate all the legal processes in pursuit of fair compensation and justice. Car accident claims are rarely straightforward, and, regardless of the circumstances involved, liable insurance companies will often do everything possible to limit their out-of-pocket expenses by either devaluing or outright denying your claim. It is crucial, therefore, that you have an experienced attorney on your side,” said Arin.
