10-Year-Old Nolan Chong Injured in Squaw Valley Ski Collision in Olympic Valley
Olympic Valley, California (January 6, 2020) - A 10-year-old boy was on Tuesday morning injured in a ski accident in Olympic Valley.
According to the authorities, the crash occurred on Tuesday, December 31, at Squaw Valley.
Authorities said two members of the Squaw Valley ski team were racing down a black diamond run when one of the lost control and crashed into Nolan Chong, 10, of San Francisco. Nolan was skiing with his dad at the time of the crash.
Nolan was hospitalized with two broken vertebrae in his back as a result of the collision.
The other involved skier, a 13-year-old, had his pass suspended for a week.
