Injuries Reported in Foster City Car Accident on State Route 92 near Foster City Boulevard Off-Ramp
Foster City, California (January 30, 2020) – Injuries were reported in a multi-vehicle crash on State Route 92 in Foster City Wednesday morning, according to a local news source.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the wreck happened at around 10:23 a.m. Wednesday, January 29 on westbound State Route 92, just east of the Foster City Boulevard off-ramp.
As per the CHP, seven vehicles were involved in the crash. One of the vehicles involved, identified as a BMW, sustained major front-end damage in the collision.
Paramedics responded to the scene and rendered aid to those who were hurt as a result of the crash. The total number of victims and their names were not immediately disclosed.
Tow trucks were dispatched to the scene.
A SigAlert was issued at around 10:45 a.m. for the closure of three lanes.
No other details about the crash were given.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
