Mission Viejo Motorcyclist Killed in Fountain Valley Collision on Bushard Street and Talbert Avenue

Fountain Valley, California (January 7, 2020) - A motorcycle rider died in a collision involving a vehicle in Fountain Valley Monday morning, according to the Fountain Valley Police Department.

Officers responded shortly before 11:30 a.m. January 6, to the collision in the area of Bushard Street and Talbert Avenue.

According to police, a man was riding a 2001 Harley-Davidson Sportster that collided with a 2019 Chevrolet Trax operated by a 91-year-old Corona man.

The motorcyclist, only identified as a 24-year-old Mission Viejo man, was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

The elderly driver of the car was unhurt and stayed at the scene. Investigators said drugs and drugs were not believed to have played a role in this crash.

The investigation is ongoing.
