Pedestrian Killed in Stanton Collision at Beach Boulevard and Cerritos Avenue
Stanton, California (January 28, 2020) - A person was killed in an auto-pedestrian accident in Stanton on Monday evening.
According to the authorities, the incident happened at about 9:40 p.m. on Monday, January 27, on Beach Boulevard at Cerritos Avenue.
The Orange County Sheriff's Department said a pedestrian walking in the area was hit by a vehicle. The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
The involved driver was at the scene when the authorities arrived. The driver reportedly cooperated with the investigators.
No further details were released.
The crash remains under investigation.
