Pedestrian Dies in Selma Train Accident near Golden State Boulevard and S. Nebraska Avenue
Selma, California (January 5, 2020) - A man was on Saturday afternoon struck and killed by a train near Selma, according to Selma police.
The deadly collision was reported near Golden State Boulevard and S. Nebraska Avenue at around 1:30 p.m. Saturday, January 4.
According to investigators, a train struck a man who was walking on the tracks. The man reportedly had earbuds on his ear at the time of the collision.
The victim, only identified as a man in his 50s, died at the scene of the crash.
No other injuries were reported.
Police are conducting an investigation into the incident.
