Man Killed in Orange Pedestrian Accident at Meats Avenue and Nordic Street

Orange, California (January 15, 2020) – A man died after being hit and killed by a vehicle Tuesday evening at an intersection in Orange, according to a local news source.

The deadly crash occurred at around 6:40 p.m. Tuesday, January 14 at the intersection of Meats Avenue and Nordic Street.

Police said the man was hit by a vehicle while he was walking across Meats Avenue at Nordic Street.

The man, whose name has not been disclosed pending notification of next of kin, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver involved stopped at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

Police closed Meats Avenue from Tustin Street to Canal Street until at least 11:00 p.m.as a result of the accident. Drivers were asked to use alternate routes.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
