Pine Grove Man Joshua Alexander Killed in Morongo Valley Accident on State Route 62
Morongo Valley, California (January 28, 2020) - Joshua Alexander, 28, of Pine Grove was killed in auto-pedestrian collision that occurred in Morongo Valley on Friday night.
The crash took place on State Route 62 just east of East Drive at around 10:15 p.m. on Friday, January 24.
According to police, a 1992 Nissan pickup truck was traveling eastbound SR 62 when the driver, a Los Angeles man, swerved to avoid a vehicle in front of him, which made an abrupt movement. The pickup then struck Alexander, who was walking along eastbound State Route 62.
The report said that Alexander succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
No other injuries were reported.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
