Ukiah Man Joseph Denson Killed in Ukiah Accident on Highway 20
California (January 29, 2020) – 32-year-old Joseph Denson of Ukiah was killed in a crash between two vehicles on Tuesday morning near Ukiah, the California Highway Patrol said.
The deadly accident, which happened on Highway 20 near Road A, took place at around 7:45 a.m. January 28.
Denson was reportedly driving a 2014 Mercedes C250 sedan eastbound on Highway 20 when the car lost traction and moved into westbound lanes. The Mercedes collided with an oncoming 2019 Jeep Cherokee, driven by 48-year-old Christian Hunt of Lakeport.
Denson was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Hunt was taken to Ukiah Valley Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries.
CHP is conducting an investigation into the crash. Alcohol and drugs were not believed to have played a role.
Accordingto Arin Khodaverdian, the Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group, a separate investigation by an experienced attorney is necessary so as clearly uncover the circumstances surrounding the collision. “An attorney will also help the victim to navigate all the legal processes in pursuit of fair compensation and justice. Car accidentclaims are rarely straightforward, and, regardless of the circumstances involved, liable insurance companies will often do everything possible to limit their out-of-pocket expenses by either devaluing or outright denying your claim. It is crucial, therefore, that you have an experienced attorney on your side,” said Arin.
