Johnny Esslinger ID’d as Motorcyclist Killed in Pauma Valley Crash on Cole Grade Road and Spring Valley Road
Pauma Valley, California (January 22, 2020) – The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s office has identified the motorcyclist who died two weeks after a traffic accident in Pauma Valley as Johnny Esslinger, 58, of Valley Center.
The crash took place at around 6:47 a.m. Monday, January 6 on Cole Grade Road and Spring Valley Road.
According to officials, Esslinger was riding his motorcycle on Cole Grade Road when traffic slowed and he attempted to overtake a vehicle. Another vehicle turned in front of his bike and he slammed into the side of the vehicle.
Esslinger sustained severe head trauma and was taken to Palomar Medical Center. His condition declined and was pronounced dead on Monday, January 20.
The CHP is investigating the accident.
According to Arin Khodaverdian, the Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group, a separate investigation by an experienced attorney is necessary so as clearly uncover the circumstances surrounding the collision. “An attorney will also help the victim to navigate all the legal processes in pursuit of fair compensation and justice. Car accident claims are rarely straightforward, and, regardless of the circumstances involved, liable insurance companies will often do everything possible to limit their out-of-pocket expenses by either devaluing or outright denying your claim. It is crucial, therefore, that you have an experienced attorney on your side,” said Arin.
