Jeri Kennedy ID’d as Woman Killed in Little Rock Pedestrian Accident on Pearblossom Highway
Littlerock, California (January 26, 2020) – The woman who was killed Thursday night in a hit-and-run accident in Little Rock has been identified as Jeri Kennedy, 65, of Little Rock.
The deadly crash happened at around 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 23 in the 7600 block of Pearblossom Highway.
The California Highway Patrol said Kennedy was walking a friend’s dog westbound on Pearblossom Highway when she was hit by a westbound vehicle that veered to the right shoulder of the road.
Kennedy was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle involved did stop to render aid and fled the scene. The suspected, identified as Alfredo Rodriguez, 62, of Palmdale, was involved in a second crash at the intersection of Avenue S at 25th Street East in Palmdale
A total of seven people, including Rodriguez, were injured in the second accident. Two patients were transported a hospital with critical injuries, four were hospitalized with minor injuries and one was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Rodriguez was arrested and booked into jail on suspicion of DUI.
