Henry Dykes Killed in Los Angeles Train Accident on West Exposition Boulevard
Los Angeles, California (January 5, 2020) - The authorities have identified the pedestrian who died in a train collision Friday morning in the Leimert Park neighborhood of Los Angeles.
He was Los Angeles resident Henry Dykes, 64, according to the coroner's office.
The deadly collision occurred in the 2000 block of West Exposition Boulevard near Arlington Avenue at around 12:51 a.m. Friday, January 3.
Dykes was hit by a Metro Expo Line train on the tracks for unknown reasons. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Authorities said Dykes had been reported missing and was reportedly suffering from dementia
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
