75-Year-Old Rider Injured in Pacifica Bicycle Accident on Highway 1 near Westport Avenue
Pacifica, California (January 24, 2020) - An elderly bicycle rider was on Thursday afternoon struck and critically injured by a vehicle in Pacifica.
The crash was reported at about 2:12 p.m. on January 23, on Highway 1 south of Westport Avenue.
Details on the events leading up to the crash were unavailable.
Police said the victim was rushed to a hospital with critical injuries. He was only identified as a 75-year-old Pacifica man.
The driver of the involved vehicle, who was not immediately identified, was at the scene when the authorities arrived and reportedly cooperated with them.
