25-Year-Old Duncan Stout Killed in San Jose Motorcycle Crash on Almaden Expressway
San Jose, California (January 25, 2020) - Duncan Stout, 25, of Los Gatos died at a hospital after being involved in a motorcycle crash earlier this month in San Jose, the San Jose Police Department has reported.
The fatal collision was reported in the area of Almaden Expressway and Cloverhill Drive at about 11:50 a.m. January 18.
According to investigators, Stout was in a 2019 Kawasaki motorcycle traveling north on Almaden Expressway when he collided with a 2014 Mercedes-Benz.
The Mercedes was reportedly turning right onto the expressway from westbound Cloverhill Drive when it collided with the motorcyclist.
Stout was transported to a hospital, where he remained hospitalized until his death.
The San Jose man who was driving the Mercedes cooperated with the police.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
According to Arin Khodaverdian, the Managing Partner and CEO Alpine Law Group, a separate investigation by an experienced attorney is necessary so as clearly uncover the circumstances surrounding the collision. “An attorney will also help the victim to navigate all the legal processes in pursuit of fair compensation and justice. Car accident claims are rarely straightforward, and, regardless of the circumstances involved, liable insurance companies will often do everything possible to limit their out-of-pocket expenses by either devaluing or outright denying your claim. It is crucial, therefore, that you have an experienced attorney on your side,” said Arin.
