Danny Rodriguez and Teresa Rodriguez Identified as Two of Four Killed in Corona Plane Accident at Corona Municipal Airport
Corona, California (January 24, 2020) – The identity of two of the four persons who perished in a deadly plane crash on Wednesday afternoon at the Corona Municipal Airport in Corona has been released by the family.
A local news source reported that Danny Rodriguez and Teresa Rodriguez, 63, were identified by their son Roger Black as two of the four fatal victims.
According to the report, 836 Bonanza craft was having some difficulties in taking off. The plane went off the ground and it couldn’t gain altitude hence bouncing back onto the runway. The pilot attempted a second takeoff. The wingtips wavered from side to side and the nose was pitched up before bursting into flames and crashing into a fence. The plane reportedly went down an embankment following the crash.
Four persons including Danny Rodriguez and his wife Teresa died in the accident. The names of the two other persons involved were not immediately released.
The Bonanza was reportedly destroyed in the crash.
The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board is carrying out the investigations.
