55-Year-Old Daniel Picazo Identified as Man Killed in Selma Train Accident near Golden State Boulevard and S. Nebraska Avenue
Selma, California (January 7, 2020) - Daniel Picazo, 55, of Selma had been identified as the man who was on Saturday afternoon struck and killed by a train near Selma, according to Selma police.
The deadly collision was reported near Golden State Boulevard and S. Nebraska Avenue at around 1:30 p.m. Saturday, January 4.
According to investigators, a train struck Picazo, who was walking on the tracks. Picazo reportedly had earphones on his ear at the time of the collision.
Picazo died at the scene of the crash.
No other injuries were reported.
Police are conducting an investigation into the incident.
